Thirty Minutes in the Life - April!

We’re entering week six of quarantine… although it might be longer. I’m starting to lose track of time. The days all blur together now, don’t they?

We’re on a loose routine to keep the blues away, but it’s not always easy with two kiddos. The work week is basically the same as it ever was - minus the commute (but a huge bonus of getting to stay I my Pj’s all day)!

So now, I’m officially a work from home mom and Olivia does her school work online. We hate it… but its a sacrifice we must make to stay safe and keep others safe too.

By the weekend however, cabin fever is usually at an all time high - so we try to so as much outside as we can while still remaining home and keeping our distance. Gardening, using our outdoor fireplace, riding bicycles and or just playing in the backyard.

This Saturday, we were blessed with perfect spring weather after what felt like a month straight of cold, gloomy rain. We finally got to soak up plenty of sun and fresh air outside.

Here’s a look at our thirty minutes:

Amelia doesn’t really nap as much as I’d like, but she must be going through a growth spurt because she napped for a full FOUR HOURS. I literally checked to make sure she was alright like 10 times because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I ACTUALLY GOT TO START AND FINISH A HOT CUP OF COFFEE!!!

My silly eight year old. Since the quarantine, she has been such a gigantic help. I honestly don’t think I could manage life without her right now. She is really just the best big sister.

After waking up, we had lunch. In true Dominianni fashion, she made a HUGE mess.

After a quick clean up, we spent sometime outside soaking up some vitamin D! The kids were loving how warm it was.

If there was ever a photo to sum up my baby - this is it. SHE IS WILD and will do things her way or no way!

Hoping everyone out there is staying safe and healthy and thank you for joining us for our 30 minutes in the life for April! Please be sure to follow along the blog circle, and see what my amazingly talented friend Stacey Markel is up to this month by clicking here!
