2025 Daily Project. Year ELEVEN baby!
Hey friends!
It feels like it’s been forever since I last gave you a proper update on my 365 photo-a-day project. For those of you just tuning in, this little labor of love has been my creative outlet for over a decade now. That’s right, Year 11, baby!
Before I dive into all the magic (and occasional chaos) I’ve captured recently, let’s address the elephant in the room: I took a break. A pretty nice-sized break, actually. I skipped like MOST of last year. But here’s the thing—this is my project, and I make the rules. If you’ve been following along, you know I’m all about embracing the messiness of creativity and life, and sometimes that means hitting pause. No guilt. No regrets. Just a big ol' reset button. And honestly? It felt good. But you know what feels even better? Picking up my camera again and diving back in.
Now, let’s talk about the photos. 2025 has been a mix of the heartfelt, the hilarious, and the utterly ordinary—all my favorite things to capture. I’ve been leaning into storytelling more than ever, making sure each image feels like a tiny time capsule of this season of life.
Here’s a look at what I got so far:
Freezing our butts off at Smith’s Point 🌊🥶. Apparently, I thought frostbite was a vibe today. Who needs tropical breezes when you’ve got arctic blasts, right? 🧤❄️
Mixing up cookies with a sprinkle of sugar and a dash of eggshells.
Walking into a used record store and finding the exact album you’ve been searching for feels a bit like hitting the jackpot!
Six years of sass, sillies, and sunshine—here’s to the sweetest little girl who makes the world a brighter place just by being in it!
Is there any better way to have lunch when you’re six?
