Thirty Minutes in the Life - July: Sunset at Cedar Beach

Social distancing is still in full effect on Long Island, so it kind of limits our options for things to do in the evenings. Luckily the beach is always a great option, so we go A LOT.

Amelia recently turned 18 months and this has been somewhat of a turning point for her. She is becoming much bolder and braver. At the beginning of the summer, she typically kept to the sand. Now that she’s been to the beach about 20 times so far this summer - the water is not as intimidating and she’ll go right in.

They stayed right here for a good five minutes letting the waves hit them and it seriously melted my heart.

On the weekend, it’s a guarantee that one of Olivia’s cousins is sleeping over - this weekend was Liam’s turn. After they were done in the water, they ran over to the jetty to watch the sunset.

The sunset tonight with the low hanging clouds above was totally outrageous. Pictures really couldn’t do it justice.
