30 Minutes in the Life - March 2022 - Hello Olivia Photography

We have a ton of different walking and hiking trails on Long Island. This weekend, I took the kids to the Rocky Point hiking trail for some fresh air, exercise and some photos too.

Image from the Maritime Radio Society.

The trail itself is an easy one - about 10 miles long going from Middle Island into Rocky Point.

Although we’ve never made it that far, the trail includes some really cool relics from when the location was used as RCA’s Radio Central - which was at one time the largest Radio Station in the world!

It’s hard to imagine at one time this area was all radio towers. Just flat land with zero trees.

It’s now been reclaimed by the Pine Barrens.

I don’t think there is anything better than walking through nature and getting some fresh clean air to help erase away the stresses of everyday…. and more importantly - to get the kids out of the house and get them GOOD AND TIRED!

And that, my friends sums up 30 minutes in the life of the Amelia this month. Thank you for joining me! Please be sure to follow along the blog circle, and see what my amazingly talented friend Arthurko Bau of LUPJi Photography is up to this month by clicking here!
