2024 Daily Project... I think I'm back
Hey everyone,
It’s been a minute, right?? Life has a way of sweeping us up in its whirlwind, and for me, that whirlwind took me away from one of my greatest joys: photography. As a mom, capturing the everyday moments of my kids lives and preserving memories has always been more than just a hobby. It’s a way to stay connected and to be more actively present in their lives. As of the last year - really since covid, life’s demands pulled me in so many different directions, leaving my camera in the dust.
After making some serious life changes (ie finally leaving a toxic company for wonderful oppertunity), I’m starting to feel the pull towards creating again and documenting all of life’s little stories.
There’s something incredibly fulfilling about freezing a fleeting moment in time, whether it’s capturing the excitement of Amelia’s first day at school, mad rush to get in all the last drops of summer before fall gets here, or just capturing a random moment from our everyday. Photography, for me, is a way to document life’s stories and the precious little details that often go unnoticed. It’s about connecting with my people, and having tangible memories - even if there comes a time when I am no longer here to tell them.
As I embark on this journey to get back into photography, I’m filled with a renewed sense of purpose. I want to once again explore the vibrant tapestry of life through my camera’s lens.
So, here’s to new beginnings and rediscovering old passions. I’m excited to dive back into the world of photography, to once again be a family historian who brings joy and meaning through every click of the shutter. Thank you for sticking around and supporting me through this journey. I can’t wait to share my new work with you all and, hopefully, capture some incredible moments along the way.
Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s rediscover the beauty of life, one photograph at a time.
